As businesses prepare to reopen, it’s been said that salad bars and restaurant buffets may disappear but Pizza Inn is planning to introduce a new Right-Way Buffet for dine-in experiences. As Pizza Inn reopens its dining rooms, it will be introducing a safe new way for people to enjoy eating out, all the while adhering to social distancing guidelines. As its name suggests, the buffet is a one-way experience and pizza-shaped markers on the floor help to direct the flow of traffic in the right way.
At Pizza Inn, all team members will now wear masks and gloves, and in some locations, the buffet will be adapted to a model where guests are served cafeteria-style or directly to tables. Similarly, the salad bar station will also look different based on regulations that vary by location.
